For its sixth year, the Ace Hotel invited Portland creatives to “propose original ideas and dreamscapes for in-room expressions of their personal art, culture and design sensibilities.” Dubbed, Content, this one-night only event merges trade show and art installation, turning the hotel's second floor into a wildly immersive testament to Portland's thriving design scene.

We reimagined an existing project for the annual Content show. One guest room was transformed into an analog version of the Knowledge for Knowledge website.

Hundreds of attendees contributed their lessons to the walls, floors, and eventually the bed. Afterwards, every bit of knowledge was recorded and added to the website.

Blacklights gave it extra flair.

Ace Hotel asked us to bring to life Knowledgeforknowledge at their Portland location as part of CONTENT2015, where each room is taken over by a company or designer and the entire city is invited to participate in a one-night only event. Over 1000 people showed up and contributed their lessons and in return, took a lesson home.
